The brand new Badger Haus album Come and Get It! features 13 new tracks the band recorded in August 1999. The record has had a very positive response so far.
Come and Get It! was recorded in the same studio as the first (the same studio that the imfamous Tonight Show with Matt Carter was filmed years ago). This time the band had better equipment, and was able to create a record far sharper than En Route to Phoenix. The record features a variety of songs - some old, some new. Derrick Redhead once again contributed his trombone talents for two songs. This album also features Karle Meyers on vocals, and Kim Bradshaw on flute. There's plenty of fun instruments and percussive toys used on the record - a banjo, the Kermit Keyboard, and Matt Fisher's pants - just to name a few.

Matt Bradshaw's sister Kim was gracious enough to play flute on the psychedelic Shadow of the Sun. While the flute isn't the only instrument this versatile girl plays, she does a great job of showing her talent by giving this Doors-ish rocker a trademark Mamas and Papas flute break.
Joe's girlfriend Karle is late in a long line of female vocalists on the pop tune, Orange which dates back to the summer of 1996. Originally performed by the now defunct band Aerostar, The Badger Haus have sort of adopted this tune, along with Shadow of the Sun (with permission) and have made it thier own. Karle Meyers sings beautifully, as Matt Fisher or anyone will contest, and makes it the most gorgeous song on the record.
Long-time friend and oldest guest musician, Derrick Redhead once again reprises his trombone position on the song Spring is Here Again. Unlike En Route to Phoenix, there were no heavy effects spread over his playing, so it actually sounds like a trombone! Jeremy Grace says that this silliest song on the album just wouldn't work without Derrick's contribution.
