The Badger Haus Bids Farewell
Adam 12:
"Which band did you like better:
"Badger Haus"
"Blasphemy"
"Badger Haus had the better ending. I mean, Jeremy gets his hand cut off, Joe finds out that Darth Vader is his father, Matt is frozen in carbonite, and Chris gets taken away by Dithyramb. It ends on such a down note. That's what life is, a series of down note endings. All
10) Cover of blur's "song #2" at whitewater U. A little lyrics improv made fun of the lifeguards. And I think you ended with "talk show host". Choice.
9) Playing bass on ode to Philip Morris at wellspring. First time I ever played bass. Probably the last too.
8) Listening to "if" in old man Harris' class. I hope there's a recording of that still running around. It's the one with WHO floating in and out of the background. I spose it's not really a badger haus moment, but oh well.
7) The Minneapolis show. Best you ever sounded live, although my judgment may have been tainted by the fact you were bookended by a ska band and die trying.
6) "Larry Poons"
5) Nollen Plaza shows--missed the show with joe playing in water. but the one i saw was grand. #6 also includes Joe's dancing. That was always fun.
4) Hearing "permafrost" on 89.1 KRUI at two in the morning.
3) Playing glockenspiel with you on "No Surprises" at wellspring. you were trying to record the show, but I don't think it turned out.
2) I walked in on you recording the "if we meet in dreams" harmony at Joe's house. Way cool, four guys belting out vocals like that. I'm glad I didn't ring the doorbell.
1) That sold out concert at Shea stadium. yeah.
sorry for this being kind of a disjointed message. simpsons is on.
